I think it is pretty pathetic that this is the only way you can sell books...is to have them finished in the next novel....It is dishonest and they aren't that good to begin with. I will never buy another one or recommend them to anyone.Product details

I have now finished Roger Hayden's book, The Abducted A Race Against Time - Book 1. The first in the series, The Abducted The Beginning was very good and this one, if possible was even better. From start to finish I was there. And an ending that I didn't see coming. Now I have to start book 2 to find out what's next. Again, I am well pleased with author Roger Hayden. Thanks for keeping me doing my job. And that would be reading the works that you place in front of me. In my humble opinion, job well done.
I like the story line and the characters are interesting. The book needs filling in with more detail for a smoother flow. The writing is choppy and the book needs editing for grammar, punctuation and sentence structure. Sometimes choice of words is awkward.
Well, well, well....another book must be purchased to find out what happens next. Now don't get me wrong,I thoroughly enjoyed this book, just like I did the first one leading into this book. BUT really? Making the reader have to purchase another book and then is there any assurance that I won't have to purchase another one, and another one, while the book is well written, I am sorry but honestly I'm going to have to think this over and se if it is worth trying to find more money to do so!! After all there are hundreds of authors out there......
The book kept my attention, but you can only find out the conclusion by buying the next book. This also happened with the second book. I feel like I'm being forced to buy books. Therefore, I will never buy another in the Abduction series.
The Snatcher is back and causing more grief and pain. I hesitate to say anything as I don't want to spoil it. I will say don't read this book before Book 0. You could, and you would pretty well understand everything but then if you read Book 0, it would be spoiled. This book is very suspenseful and action packed. It has gotten very personal for Miriam. She badly wants to take The Snatcher down. Alas, this book also ends in a cliff hanger. And I don't think Book 3 is written yet. I was tempted to give only four stars because of that but the story is too good. So I will wait patiently. Go ahead and get the book. Then remember patience is a virtue.
The overwhelming number of editorial errors is evidence to how bad this book is. The publishing company didn't have enough respect for the comic book characters and Charlie Brown dialogue to hit spell check before charging an assuming public for this waste of time.
I hats authors who don't provide an ending to a story but make the reader purchase another book in order to get the ending for the first one. The story isn't so long that it would need to be broken up into two or more. I wont be buying the next book. Two times with both books doing this is enough to tell me money is more important than pleasing readers. Shame on Mr Hayden!
